Yellow House on the Corner, Franklin MI watercolor 11"x 15"
House in Birmingham with a History
The second viewpoint is pictured below. A shady spot across the street allowed me some comfort on the day I painted this. Massive trees flank the home, so I only painted part of each so as not to overpower the house

"Adobe Afternoon" watercolor
This painting received the honor of being awarded
A wonderful trip to Taos New Mexico, while teaching a painting workshop there, inspired this painting. My sojourn was at the Mabel Dodge Luhan House there, a wonderful retreat kind of setting, full of Southwest ambiance.
