Acrylic/ Collage had me held captive for the last few weeks

From the inception of this idea, working from sketches of models drawn in life drawing class, to the purchase of patterned papers at Hollanders in Ann Arbor, to all the stages this piece has gone through in conveying to me what form it would finally take on, it has held my interest....calling me back to its side day after day, evening after evening. I worked on it when I felt fresh and alert, I went back to it often when I was tired at the end of my day or teaching, hardly able to stand up for 2 or 3 more necessary hours. And it has finally come to a conclusion. I can tell when it is complete, because it releases me from the process of invention and doesn't nag at me anymore with its imperfections.
I have recorded the process of my developing it, but so far have not been able to upload my videos here for technical reasons that have to do with this website. I will keep working on it and see if I can get it posted soon... I had a great time lost in the world of creation.
