Moving Closer to My Goal

Looking back, a couple of posts earlier on this blog, I showed this painting in progress. It's still in progress. Now I've defined the model's features to capture a more personal statement about him, and I've been developing his hands. The definition of his hands will have to wait until I return to class to paint them in person next Friday. In addition, I've added some new collage elements, searching through my paper resources, and playing with possibilities. He seems now to be seated in a window seat. I'm hoping to develop a suggestion of what is beyond the window. Not sure how this will come together...but the model is sure to be surprised, as he was seated on a stool in the studio with a dismal grey wall behind him. More to come...stick with me.
