These three drawings, left and below, sketched from the model, were completed working from a new model. The softness of her shape made me feel like I was Renoir working with the contours of the figure. The second image below was quite a challenge. Not only was I involved in the foreshortening that was necessary to draw her from where I stood in the studio, but her legs crossed behind her added to the difficulty. I actually felt like I was working out a pussle that came togeether slowly, and finally all came together. I enjoyed the freshness of her poses as different from some of the other figures we've drawn.
