Lake Tahoe Beauty

Here are the three paintings I have completed since my return from my daughter's wedding at the Tunnel Creek Lodge, Incline Village, Lake Tahoe Nevada. The grounds of the lodge, which is where Jennifer and Todd were married, was phenomenally lovely. Amidst the Ponderosa Pines (you remember the TV show, The Ponderosa, which was filmed in this area,) one feels like they have entered a new zone of living. Yes it's  breathtaking.

 Here are two watercolor paintings for which I used reference photos of mine taken on the property we stayed at for a few days at Tunnel Creek Lodge, Lake Tahoe Nevada. SSSSOOOOO gorgeous. We were there for the marriage of my daughter Jennifer to her husband Todd. I went with the idea of fitting in some painting time. However the 4 days were packed with family time, ours and his. Wonderful occasion! So I have been painting since we returned to Michigan, and have found that my photos represent it so well, that the feeling of the location stays with me as I regard those images now, I am happy to say.
