Watercolorists at Work!

2/25/2012

Below are photos of students in my watercolor class  at The Community House while working on drawing and painting the subject of glass objects. In the photos, taken early in the class session you don't really get a look at the work as it progressed. But you do see the concentration on the students' faces hard at work. We had worked from photos, but will next time be painting from actual glass objects in small still life arrangements. The photographer was  Carroll deWeese as arranged through The Community House, copyright Carroll DeWeese. Unfortunately it's difficult to show the actual pieces being painted here. I'll try to take pictures myself of some of the paintings being created in class to post in the future.

I must be saying something worthwhile here, as they seem to be attentively writing  some notes...or perhaps a message to a long lost love!??
